House. Early C19. Rough Ham Hill stone ashlar, stepped stone
copings to a shallow-pitch slate roof with brick stacks to
gable ends. Double-depth plan. 3 storeys; symmetrical 3-window
range. Gauged flat stone arches over 8/8-pane sashes. Steps up
to a 5-panel door, one horizontal panel to the top, with a
semi-circular overlight of 4 radiating panes. This is set deep
in an archivolt, which steps back from the facade, and has
reeded imposts; worn painted lettering on the arch shows it to
have been a county police station. INTERIOR not inspected.
