House. C17, probably extended early C19. Painted limestone
rubble with stone plinth; thatched roof, hipped to the right
with brick stack to apex of the hip, and wrought-iron brackets
supporting gutter. Central entry 2-room plan, with C19
extension to the right.
2 storeys. All windows are C19 three-light casements under
wooden lintels, those to the first floor are directly under
the eaves. The C17 block was symmetrical, with a window to
both floors of the C19 extension to the far right.
INTERIOR: there is a chamfered beam to the right of the door
and an inglenook fireplace to the right end wall. Passage to
the room to far right has been made by reducing the width of
the fireplace and resting the oak lintel on the wall of the
passage against the front wall. A cupboard-stair fills the
space to the left. Roof not seen.
