GV II

House and shop. Early C19. Coursed limestone rubble with plain
tile roof. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys; one-window range to
left of shop. To the far left is a 6-panel door glazed to the
top, and to the inside-left are late C19 two-over-two-pane
sashes to both floors, all under stone lintels. Occupying the
right half, almost to the eaves, is a late C19 shopfront, with
a glazed set-back door and tall overlight to its left; 2
plate-glass panes to the right, which have segmental-arched
glazing bars connecting the colonnettes; and a moulded cornice
to the fascia. To the far right the facade steps slightly back
to meet No.31 (qv) INTERIOR not inspected. Included for group
value.
