Attached pair of houses. Late C18. Brick and render with
limestone dressings, slate mansard and pantile hipped roofs.
Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style.
Each of 2 storeys, basement and attic; 2-window range. Coped
parapet and gable ends, doors to the outer sides have brackets
to pediments, plate-glass fanlights and 6-panel doors,
semicircular-arched stair windows above the door, 5 stepped
voussoirs to plate-glass and 6/6-pane sashes. Canted bays to
the rear with flush frames. INTERIOR not inspected.
SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: railings and gates to front basement
areas; attached rear squared coursed rubble wall fronting
Spring Hill and Dove Street, with an ashlar pedimented doorway
and C20 door.
