House. Dated 1873 on stair. Stucco with slate roof. 2
storeys and 3 bays. Ground floor sill band, 1st and 2nd
floor sill courses and bracketed cornice. 1st bay has open
pediment. Round and segmental headed windows with egg-and-
tongue moulded arches, keystones and imposts. Porch has open
pediment/gable with round-arched entrance with rusticated
pilasters and egg-and-tongue mouldings. Octagonal tower on
angle, 3 storeys, round-arched windows, top cornice and
battlements. Fire escape and flat-topped dormer to left of
tower. Garden front has 2 storeys, with a wide 3-sided 2-
storeyed bay window and 4 further windows (in 2 pairs) on
each floor. A 2-storeyed verandah of slender iron columns,
and delicate iron leaves and tendrils in spandrels, the
ground floor verandah forming a balcony to 1st floor, and
the upper verandah covered by the projecting eaves of the
roof.
