GV II

Railings. 1820s for New River Company. Cast and wrought iron.
Straight-shaft railings with urn finials, every eleventh shaft
coupled with another set back, with mid-rail, on cast-iron and
brick plinths; breached by an inserted gate. Associated with
the realignment of the New River and the rebuilding of
Canonbury Road Bridge in 1823.
