Pair of houses. c1850. Roughcast render with Welsh slate roof.
2 storeys, symmetrically-designed pair, each with 2-unit plan
with end entry. Outer canted bays with round arched panes to
sash windows and inner 12-pane sash windows in moulded
architraves. Upper 12-pane sash windows in plain architraves
and sill band. Brackets to eaves cornice. Angle quoins, Gable
and axial stacks. Forms a group with Nos. 5-7 and Nos. 9-11
Alton Road, and the 3 pairs were probably built as a single
speculative development.
