SU 57 NE BASILDON PARK WALL LANE (south-east side)

1/4 Whispering Hollow

Cottage. C17 with C20 additions to north-east. Timber framed with plastered
infil. Thatched roof, hipped to west and half hipped to east, end stack to
east, ridge stack off-centre to west, and 4 eye brow eaves dormers to south
with 2-light casements. 2 framed bays with later additions. 1 ½ storeys.
South front: 4 ground floor 2-light casements, C20 gabled thatched brick
porch to left with weatherboarded tympanum and boarded door.
