House and shop. C18 or early C19, extended 1982. Tall, 2
storeys, 1 window, timberframed and plastered building on
roadside facing E with 2 steps up to door. Black painted plinth
and panelled pargetting. Gabled low pitched slate roof parallel
with road. Internal S gable chimney. Symmetrical front with
early C19 double shop window with central flush panelled half-
glazed door, rebated for shutter. Small moulded fascia. Single
flush box sash window on 1st floor with 8/8 panes. High plinth
plastered with panelled fan pargetting (renewed). 2 storeys
matching N extension (1982) slightly recessed with 1 window on
each floor, hipped slate roof and modern panelled pargetting.
Shop front on N return copies original.
