Former house, now office and restaurant. Early C16, refronted
and altered in C19 and C20. Timber-framed and roughcast on
brick plinth. Plain tiled roof, hipped to left with cross-wing
to left. Rear stack to left and projecting end stack to right.
Plain bargeboards on crosswing. Two storeys; irregular
fenestration of three windows on first floor, with C20
shop-window on ground floor of crosswing with glazed door to
right, single window in centre and recessed glazed door to
right within gauged segmental arch of mid-C20 date. Interior:
timber-framed and partially exposed, particularly within
two-bay crosswing on first floor. Cambered tie-beams
supporting short queen post trusses. Curved braces in wall
framing.
