Group pf 4 early C19 houses in multicoloured stock brick, the 2 centre ones
taller. All have low pitched, hipped slate roofs with eaves soffits. No 153
2 storeys and basement, one window. Gauged, flat brick arches to sash windows
with glazing bars in stucco-lined reveals. Door of 3 panels with heavy bead,
the top panel glazed, in panelled reveal with reeded architrave. Trellis porch,
up 3 steps. No 155 3 storeys and basement, 2 windows. Gauged, flat brick arches
to sash windows with glazing bars, that on ground floor with coloured margin
lights. 3-panel door in panelled reveal with moulded architrave. Wood frieze
and cornice over. No 157: the same as No 155. No 169 2 storeys, 3 windows.
Gauged brick arches to 1st floor sash windows in stucco lined reveals. Late
C19 ground floor sash windows. Modern celtral door in panelled reveal with reeded
architrave; but hood over it modern.

Nos 143 to 159 (odd) form a group.
