GV II

House. Early C16 timber frame. Plastered and roughcast with
some weatherboarding. Steep old tile roof, square brick stack
toward S on C16 base. 2 storeys, deeply jettied 1st floor.
Cross wings each end with C19 cusped bargeboards, and Ground
floor canted sash window bows with matching 3/6 sashes above.
C17 3-light diamond leaded casement on 1st floor towards N. S
elevation has C19 casements with glazing bars and continues in
1839 extension (see Manor House; both buildings formerly one
property). L plan, one and a half storeys. Twin casements with
6 plus 6 panes. Gabled dormer, modern canted corner bay.
Single, large strut of crown post roof remaining in S cross wing
of front range.
