GV II

House. Rebuilt 1839. Symmetrical, yellow gault brick front and
large, imitation half-timbered rear extensions. Old tile roof.
2 storeys. 3 window front has slightly projecting gabled centre,
cusped bargeboards and half-timbered tympanum. Square wooden
porch with moulded, 4 centre arches, carved spandrels and
tile roof. Panelled door and side lights. Windows have moulded
lintels and sills, those of Ground floor small pane mullioned and
transomed casements; 2 pane sashes to 1st floor. N elevation
with Ground floor, canted bow casement, half-glazed Tudor arch
door with bracketed hood, and 1st floor single sashes. Half-
timbered rear extension has external stack with angled flues.
Picturesque rear elevation has gabled centre dormers and 2
projecting gabled ends. Ornate half-timbering of diagonal and
crossed braces, some brick nogging. Various windows include N
Ground floor, Regency sash bow and 1st floor, bracketed,
projecting casements N and S.
