House, now an inn. C16 timber frame, refronted in C18 and
extended N in early C19. Painted stucco and roughcast, 3 window
range to street with low slate roof. Ground floor with early C19
public house entrance of 2 doors and 2 windows, framed by slim
pilasters and fascia with moulded cornice. 1st floor C18, 6/6
sash windows. Double roofed N block is red brick, painted to
street. Old red tiles. Ground and 1st floor triple-hung sash
windows. Central chimneystacks on N gable ends. Rear elevation
with Ground floor triple hung sash and 2 1st floor 6/6 sashes of
different sizes. Interior of 3 window range has chamfered and
stopped beam and remains of cross passage on S.
