Early C17 or earlier with alterations, 2 storey, roughcast cob, thatched. East
end repaired with brick. 4 semi-dormer windows. Casements with glazing bars,
Brick buttresses at flanks. Plain entrance with stout frame to later door.
Interior: through passage, massive rough hewn beams with very wide chamfers,
wide fireplaces with stop-chamfered beams, hewn principals and purlins, ledged
doors with strap hinges, west portion carved moulded stops to chamfered beams,
curved stair well. Star for ancient quality of construction.
