7-8-52 boundary walls
and gate-piers

GV II

Detached House, formerly belonging to Richard Roberts, tile mill-
owner. Late Cl8. Coursed rubble stone walls. Thatch roof with
stone gable copings and moulded kneelers. Brick stacks at each
gable-end. 2 storeys and attics. 5 windows, sashes with glazing-
bars, flush wooden frames and wooden cills. Stone arch-voussoirs.
One blocked window, bay 2, upper storey. Front door at centre,
flush- and rib-panelled, with 2 top lights, early C19. Attached
front garden walls and gate-piers, Rubble-stone with stone gate-
piers. Low pyramidal caps with ball-finials.
