House, now offices. Late C17, refenestrated C18, altered early
C20, restored late C20. Coursed squared rubble with ashlar
dressings and hipped slate roof with 2 prominent coped stone
ridge stacks. Ground floor sill band, quoins, moulded eaves,
projecting surrounds to windows. Square plan.
2 storeys plus attics; 5-window range of 18-pane sashes.
Above, 3 segment-headed dormers with 2-light glazing bar
casements. Moulded stone doorcase with keyblock and segmental
pediment on consoles, with fielded 6-panel door and overlight.
On either side, two 18-pane sashes.
Left return has 3 stone mullioned cross casements and below, a
single casement to left and two 2-light stone mullioned
casements to right, the right one smaller.
Right return has a central 2-light stair window with 2
transoms, flanked to right by a stone cross casement. Below, a
doorway flanked by a 2-light casement to left and a cross
casement to right, all with renewed stonework.
Rear has off-centre 2-light stair window with transom, flanked
by single stone cross casement to left and 2 to right. Above,
2 segment-headed dormers with 2-light casements.
INTERIOR has late C17 dogleg oak stair, restored C20, with
alternating twist and vase and stem balusters and moulded
handrail. Ramped fielded panelled dado. Moulded stone
fireplace and C18 two-panel door on first floor.
