ST 77 NE TORMARTON C.P. MARSHFIELD ROAD (west side)

Pair of houses, now house. Early C19, possibly incorporating earlier building,
with C20 alterations. Coursed squared limestone rubble with stone dressings and
quoins, stone tiled roof with raised coped verges and gable stacks. 2 storeys
and 2 windows, ground floor has two 2-light casements with chamfered mullions and
hood mould, central gabled porch with raised coped verges and kneelers has two
4-centred arched openings with C20 doors, 2 small gables, each with similar
2-light window. Rear left has single storey addition, 1½ storey rear wing has
door and C20 window at right return. Interior: not inspected.
