Cottage. Late C17, with minor probably C18 or C19 addition. Rendered cob. Gable-
ended Welsh-slate roof.
Plan and development: Two-room baffle-entry plan (ground falls to right) with larger
room to left, and winder staircase to rear of central stack. Lean-to addition at
rear, possibly a C18 or C19 addition. Two-storeys on high plinth.
Exterior: Two-window front; late C20 two-light wooden casements. Central C20 half-
glazed door, approached by flight of 6 external steps from left, with C20 wrought
iron balustrade.
Interior: Principal ground-floor room to left with C17 chamfered spine beam and wall
beam to front, window seat to front and boarded door with strap hinges to lean-to
addition at rear. Steep C17 winder staircase to rear of stack, with boarded door at
front in left-hand room. Right-hand ground-floor room (kitchen) has blocked old
fireplace with wooden lintel.
