GV II


Rectory in garden. Mid C18, with C19 ground floor extension at front. Brick
walls in Flemish bond with glazed headers. Plat band, and closers. Asbestos
slate roof, hipped, with boxed eaves. Rendered stack at north end wall and
on front pitch, right of centre. Slightly projecting centre bay. 2 storeys.
3 windows, sashes with thin glazing-bars. Ground floor addition, mid C19, at
front in Broadmayne brick (Flemish bond) with flat stone cornice. Canted bays
in stone either side of front door, with heavy moulded cornices. Sashes with
plate glass. Front door at centre, 2-leaf with recess panels and 2 upper lights.
Fanlight over with radiating glazing-bars, C19. North end of C18 house has a
C19 extension behind a flanking wall, with concave profile and coping.
