Attached Cottage. Approx C16 roof with C17 ceiling and C20
refenestration. Rubble-stone walls, painted white. Thatch roof,
with a brick stack at left hand party wall, and right hand gable.
2 storeys. 2 windows, 2-light wooden casements with glazing-bars,
wooden cills, C20 renewals. Front door, C2O, plank and muntin, and
glass lights. Plank door at right hand with 2 strap hinges.
Interior: Roof: heavy jointed-cruck construction with large through-
purlins, collar-beams double-pegged. Eaves raised at front taking
pitch of roof above the backs of the principals. Ceiling-Beams,
ground floor, slight-chamfered with filleted stops. C17. Open
fireplace with large chamfered wood lintel, depressed-arch head,
c.C17. Rear of fireplace recently blocked.
