Peacock Bridge over river Frome, east drive to Frampton House

Bridge over river (east drive to Frampton House). Late C18. Stone, with brick
soffits to the arches, 3 spans. The middle arch and smaller flanking arches
have segmental heads with moulded archivolts. Circular (Coade stone) panels in
the spandrels. The piers have rounded cut-waters capped with reeded half-domes.
The parapet is balustraded (bulbous balusters), with panelled dies over the
piers, and a continuous cornice at road level. The curving approach-walls end
in cylindrical moulded stone pedestals.
