House. Late C17, altered C20. White-painted roughcast,
presumably on sandstone. Stone slate roof, and rendered
chimneys. 2-unit plan.
2 storeys and 3 bays, symmetrical. Central doorway with
moulded surround and long-and-short jambstones, added wooden
cornice on moulded brackets. 2 small formerly mullioned
2-light windows at ground floor and 3 above, all with recessed
chamfered surrounds and those to the left at ground floor and
in the centre at 1st floor with stumps of former mullions, but
now all casements. Moulded eaves cornice behind gutter, and
gable chimneys with water-tabling. Garden wall attached to
front enclosing rectangular garden, of large coursed sandstone
rubble, approx 1m high, with ridged coping.
