SP 0937 BROADWAY CP HIGH STREET (south side)

House. Probably mid-C18, altered late C19. Limestone rubble and painted
brick with stone slate roof. One storey with attic. East wall of painted
brick, of two bays. On the ground floor are casement windows with segmental
heads. Two attic dormers. Left-hand part of wall covered by lean-to
extension. Doorway, between bays, has segmental head. Gable chimneys.
North gable wall, facing the road and of stone has a single-storey canted
bay window on a stone base, a window to the right, and an attic window.
Interior: not fully accessible at time of survey (November 1986). Right-
hand room has chamfered spine beam.
