along Main Street,
formerly Bridge Court.

Single house. C17, C18 and C20 rear extensions. Coursed lias ashlar walls.
Slate roof with gable ends. Brick stack at left hand gable. 2 storeys.
5 windows, sashes with projecting keys and voussoirs. Dormer in roof with
wooden casements. Door on to main road, wooden, C20 with glass panels.
Reeded pilaster surround. Large extensions of c 1920, in an early Tudor style
at "rear", being the present front, of the house. Interior: heavy mid-
chamfered beams, c C17. The house has been greatly altered inside and its
plan is not recoverable.

Attached stone wall for 40 metres, along road to the bridge. Pointed door at
the centre, with brick arch over. "RCHM, Dorset I", p 95 (9).
