Small house. Circa late C17 with probably C19 addition at left end. Whitewashed
rendered cob, thatched roof gabled at ends, end stacks to main range.
Main range 2-room plan, the hall/kitchen at the left end heated from the end stack,
rounded stair turret to rear. 1-room plan addition at the left end is slightly set
back. Small C20 lean-to adjoins right-hand end.
2 storeys. 1+2-window front, the main range with central doorway and thatched C20
porch. To the left of the porch a circa late C19 2-storey canted bay window of 4
lights, 6 panes to each light; the 2 right-hand windows are 2-light small pane
casements.
Interior Chamfered cross beam with 1 step stop to left-hand room, large fireplace
with timber lintel. One 2-light rear window is probably late C17 or early C18.
Roofspace not inspected.
Modestly-scaled late C17 house with an attractive rear stair turret.
