Wall monument with acanthus leaves, to John Sharpe d. 17th Mar 1731 aet 69 and his wife Mary d. 18th Dec 1731 aet 68. The winged cherubs heads, encouraging the departed soul to ascend to Heaven, were also a very popular theme for local C18 headstones. (Photo Sept 2007).
