6/140 Barn and cart shed
attached to Shute's
Farmhouse

Attached barn with later cart shed. Early C19 and late C19. Barn with coursed
Lias stone walls and brick at rear. Pantile roof with small gable to lane and
loft door beneath towards right hand end. One storey with loft. Recessed
central part of wall, to take large sliding barn doors, wide segmental head of
voussoirs. Plank barn doors set in head and foot runners.

Cart shed at north gable end, later addition to barn. Brick with 2 segmental
arches for entrances and central brick pier. Loft over.
