A symmetrical pair of C18 stone rubble estate cottages. Built between 1750-1780 by
John Freeman of the Gaines Estate. 2 storey 5 bay front with gable end peg tile roof.
Good flanking external chimney stacks with brick shafts rising from massive stepped
stone bases. 3 two light small paned C19 wood casements on ground floor and 2 plain
doorways, under segmental brick header arches. 3 horizontal glazed 2 light casements
beneath eaves on 1st floor. Full width REAR outshut with later casements.
