C18. Large red brick house of irregular plan and various dates. The main
block is largely mid C18, three storeys, ten windows, sashes, slight project-
ing of three bays without pediment. At the north-east end is a large bow
front. On south-west is brick faced timber frame wing. Later additions.
Interior, fine room in early Gothic Revival and good stucco in Adam style.
Small staircase under oval glazed dome.
