House, now commercial premises. C16, much altered C19.
Timber-framed, stucco faced. Old tiled roof with modern
casement dormer, and tall C19 brick chimneystack, with
oversailing courses, and 3 pots.
2 storeys with attics. First floor has 2 sash windows in
reveals, with glazing bars, window on left triple light.
Ground floor late C19 shopfront underbuilding jetty. Pilasters
with bold moulded consoles supporting moulded cornice with
dentils; fascia with modern board. Plate glass display windows
with moulded frames, and corner pillars with filiated caps,
canted sidelights to recessed entrance, with twin leaf part
glazed doors with moulded panels below. Curved right hand end
to shopfront turns into narrow twitchell on ground floor only.
Ground floor gutted internally. Long rear outshoot on south
side, 2 storeys, colourwashed pebbledashed first floor above
C19 extension on ground floor shop, with 3 flush set sash
windows with exposed boxes, and old tiled roof. Tall red brick
chimneystack with oversailing courses and 3 pots.
