GV II

House, now offices. C17 or earlier, refronted C18, altered and
rear section rebuilt mid C19. Timber-framed, stucco facing
with masonry lining. 2 storeys and attics, wooden cornice, old
tiled roof to front, with 2 box casement dormers, Welsh slated
roof at rear, giving double pile formation. Central C19 yellow
brick chimneystack with 4 pots of square, tapered Egyptian
pattern. 2 flush set sash windows with glazing bars on first
floor, 3 on ground floor. 6 fielded-panel door with raised
surrounds, in reveal, with architrave surround, and cut
bracketed hood with dentilled cornice.
INTERIOR: first floor front room has wood panelling with
bolection mouldings, wood cornice, and fireplace surround with
bolection moulding, all mid C18.
