C17, with C19 and C20 alterations. Timber-framed over
colourwashed brick plinth, colourwashed plaster with some
pargeting, old tiled roof. 2 storeys. Central red brick
chimneystack, with oversailing courses and 2 pots shared
between the 2 properties. 2 flush casements on ground floor,
to No.44. One modern casement to No.46. 2 altered casement
windows on first floor to No.44, one to No.46. Boarded and
battened entrance door to No.44, recessed in plain surround
under projecting weatherboard head supported on cut brackets,
against the stack with baffle entry arrangement; modern entry
door to left to No.46.
