House. C15, altered C18-C19. Timber framed and part exposed restored?)
with red brick infill, part tile hung with boarding below. Plain tiled
roof. The truncated remains of a Wealden hall house. Two storeys, with
hipped roof, the eaves overhanging to right and supported on a single arch-
braced post. Stack to end right. Two storey canted bay to centre, with
wooden casement to left on 1st floor. Central door of 4 panels in moulded
architrave. Outshot to left, the ground floor of the left half of the
building boarded, with 2 sets of carriage doors, boarded door to centre and
2 wooden casements.
