Public house. Mid C18, refronted c1870, with mid and late C20
alterations. Stucco front and dressings, with steep pitched
hipped pantile roof. Plinth, rusticated quoins to ground
floor, first-floor sill band, wooden gutter. 3 storeys;
7-window range, arranged 2:5. Main lock, to right, has a
slightly projecting central bay and ground floor cornice. 5
plain sashes with arch-topped moulded eared surrounds and
bracketed sills. Above, 5 smaller plain sashes with keystones
and label moulds on brackets. Ground floor has four 2-light
cross casements with louvred shutters and to right, a C20
panelled door. To left, a slightly recessed bay with 2 plain
sashes with eared and shouldered surrounds. Above, 2 smaller
sashes with hoodmoulds on brackets. Below, a square-headed
carriage entrance with a pair of panelled folding doors.
INTERIOR mainly remodelled mid and late C20.
