Cottage, possibly originally 2 dwellings. Late C18, with early
C19 extension. Coursed and squared stone, extended in brick
and with stone flagged roof. 2 storeys, original build a
3-window range, extension a single-window range. Doorway in
centre of elevation with heavy stone lintel, and flanking
windows renewed in original openings with square cut mullions.
Gabled porch extension to additional doorway to right. Further
doorway to left giving access to single separate unit.
Right-hand bay built in 2 phases of brick work, with
flat-arched heads to window on each floor, and cast-iron plate
built into wall over ground floor. Moulded timber guttering.
Staircase against left-hand gable giving access to upper
storey in seperate occupation. Brick axial and end wall
stacks.
