GV II

House and stable block converted to house. c1820 with late C20
alterations. Brick, No.24A roughcast; tile roof with brick
stacks. 2 storeys; 2-window range with lower 2-storey,
2-window range breaking back to left, with recessed 2-storey,
3-window, range to left end, No.24A: modillioned brick
cornices. Entrance to left has doorcase with cornice,
overlight to 6-panel door. Canted bay window has hipped roof
and plate glass sashes; 1st floor windows have sills, and
rubbed brick flat arches over plate glass sashes. Projecting
end stack and rear stack. Range to left has segmental-headed
windows with casements, cross-casements to ground floor, one
contemporary. Projecting end stack. No.24A has right end
entrance with C20 door; left end has 2 large segmental-headed
entrances with paired plank doors, that to right with C20
doors. 2 windows to ground floor have C20 bowed oriels. 1st
floor has pitching shuttered hole and 2 windows with C20
two-light casements and louvred shutters.
