Pair of houses. c1836. Stucco with Welsh slate roof.
Italianate style. 2 storeys with attic and basement. Each
house a double-pile single-unit plan, the party wall running
in the centre of the gable. Symmetrically-designed with
central gable and narrow outer bays. Outer entrance halls with
paired 2-panelled doors with fanlights in moulded architraves
approached up steps. Narrow 4-pane sash window over central
bays with canted bay window to basement and ground floor, with
round arched 8-pane sash windows and lattice-panelled apron.
8-pane sash window in moulded architrave above, and
round-arched attic window in segmentally-pedimented dormer
which cuts the eaves line. Axial stacks. The houses form part
of the original development of Rock Park, laid out in 1836 by
J.Bennison.
