4/75 Limekiln and associated building
on Limekiln Quay

Limekiln and storeshed. Late C18 or early C19, more probably the latter. Slate
rubble and slate roof. Enclosures of slate rubble walling built on the quay.
Circular limekiln against bank at rear, granite lintel. Store-shed open to enclosure.
Hipped slate roof, simple construction with pegged members. An unusually complete
estate lime facility forming a very attractive feature on Truro River.
