GV II

Terrace of 4 houses and a public house. Early-mid C19. Brick
with limestone dressings, roof not visible. Double-depth plan.
Each of 3 storeys; 1-window range. Pilaster strips to party
walls, cornice band and a parapet; right-hand doorways have
bracketed canopies, that to the public house set at an angle
on the corner to the right; 5 stepped voussoirs to
ground-floor sashes with margin bars, segmental pediments over
paired second-floor sashes with horizontal glazing bars, and
paired semicircular-arched second-floor windows with keys and
sill brackets. INTERIOR: a dogleg stair to the right with
stick balusters to No.11; remodelled public house interior.
