Gate Pier and connecting wall at the Lodge (Formerly listed as part of The Lodge)

Late C18, forms an integral part of design of the Lodge (q.v.). Square
Portland stone gate pier connected to lodge by a low, railed wall. Pier
has reeded and moulded string near top, small moulded cap with curved
terminal, crowned with inverted saucer shape, carved with convex reeding.
Small offsets at side facing road are finished with inverted scrolls.

The Lodge and Phyllis Court Lodge, with their associated gate piers and
connecting walls form a group at this entrance to Henley.
