GV II

House. Late C18 or early C19 front to reported C17 origins. Fronted in pebbledash with old tiled roof with end left brick chimneystack and external chimneystack to right. L-shaped building. 2 storeys 2 window to front. Mid-C19 sashes with verticals only and horns. Central wooden doorcase with flat hood on brackets with drops underneath ( a vernacular version of Arundel House, No 88 High Street qv). 6-panelled door. Right side elevation has one 4-paned sash, one 3-light canted bay and gabled weatherporch with early C19 6 flush-panelled door with top 2 panels glazed. Front has attached spear railings.
