Stables with attached pigsties. Probably late C18 with minor later alterations.
Roughly coursed slate-stone with granite quoins, largely ivy-clad at time of
resurvey (December 1987); hipped slate roof. 2 levels. Stable door to right
with window to centre on ground floor; another immediately below eaves to right.
Doorway on first floor to right end approached by external granite steps abutting
lean-to. Pigsties attached to rear right corner have steep lean-to roof with
5 doors on south side.
Interior: Stables have continuous loft and collar truss roof in 7 short bays,
including to hips.
