Barn. Early C16 for Sir Henry Trecarrel, extended and reroofed mid-C19. Roughly
coursed slate-stone and polyphant rubble with granite alternating angle quoins.
Original barn extended to north-west in C19. Two levels. North-east side
has 4-centred chamfered doorway to left with plank door and decorated strap
hinges. 2 rectangular slit windows to left and small window directly below
eaves immediately to right. Plank door with granite lintel to left of centre
flanked by similar slit windows, right with similar doorway and quoins marking
end of original barn to right. C19 extension has wide inserted doorway with
steel joist to left and window with granite lintel to right. Hatch directly
below eaves above wide doorway. Angle quoins reused for original building.
Interior: Mid-C19 King-post roof in 10 bays, including 3 bays to C19 addition.
