Farmhouse. Probably mid-cl7 with later additions and alterations. Roughcast
slate-stone; slate roof. 3-unit through-passage plan with twin-gabled addition
at right-angles to rear on right. 2 storeys. Three 16-paned glazing bar
sashes (left horned) directly below eaves towards centre with C20 eight-paned
sash to left and 4-light C20 casement to right of roughly central C20 door
under flat-hood. Tapering ridge stack immediately to left of entrance in
integral end stack to right, both with slate drips. 2 prominent semi-circular
cloam oven projections to right gable end, which has 2-storey lean-to attached.
Interior: Inspection not possible at time of resurvey (December 1987) but
likely to be of interest.
