Pair of attached houses. Early C19, with later alterations and additions.
Rubble, Rose Cottage rendered with double Roman tiled roof, concrete tiled to rear,
cottage to left with stone tiled roof and pantiled addition; gable stacks and
central ridge stack. Rose Cottage of 2 storeys and 3 windows, all C19 2-light
casements with chamfered mullions and surround, floating cornice to ground floor
windows, small single pane window to left, first floor C20 casement in wooden
frame, central panelled and glass door and C20 gabled porch, single storey
addition to right with corrugated asbestos roof. Cottage to left of 2 storeys
and 2 windows, all 2-light casements with hollow-chamfered mullions and bolection-
moulded surrounds, floating cornice to ground floor windows, all C19 casements,
central plank door in chamfered stone surround, barrel shaped hood on wrought iron
brackets, single storey addition to left with plank door in moulded frame. Rear
of Rose Cottage has C20 extension with 2 windows, rear of cottage to left has
single storey addition with double Roman tiled roof. Interior: not inspected.
