Attached House and wing, now laboratory and offices. Early C18, with internal
modernization. Brick walls (Flemish bond) with stone dressings. Stone
plinth with a brick dentil-cornice. Slate roof with stone gable-copings.
Renewed brick stacks at left and right hand gables. 2 storeys. 3 windows,
3-lighters with moulded stone architraves and flat-section stone mullions.
These frames hold sashes with glazing-bars and crown glass. Central upper
window, has moulded architrave with segmental head and stone shaped side-
pieces carved with open flowers. Doorway at centre: moulded architrave
with scrolled flush feet, pulvinated frieze and carved bracketed pediment.
Interior: stop-chamfered beams, C18 panelling on staircase wall. Attached
range at left hand: lias rubble walls. Slate roof, 1 brick stack. 2
storeys. 2 windows, renewed 3- and 5- light casements with glazing-bars.
