House. Late C17 or early C18. Long timber frame, plastered, 2
storeys, facing E, with half-hipped thatched roof, modern
panelled pargetting and 4 windows to each floor. Entrance into
thatched single storey lean-to at N end. Thatched lean-to
addition along back. Modern single storey tiled and gabled rear
wing. Windows have modern timber casements with small panes.
Tiled, hipped square bay window on S end. Central red brick
chimney in middle of house. Thin timbers exposed inside. Site
an encroachment on the green not shown on Clintons Estate map of
1588 (HRO). 2 houses until recently.
