Large house on corner site. C17 refronted in mid C18. Brick, partially faced in incised render, moulded stone cornice to parapet, slate roof hipped to High Street end, three brick stacks including very large square ridge stack with four joined flues and moulded stone cornice. L-plan with angle partially filled towards High Street by single storey shop unit with curved front.

Main house and adjoining former stable range, now part of house, of two storeys, with four and three windows respectively facing into angle, twelve-pane sashes in shallow reveals with splayed brick voussoirs visible on brick range. Main doorway originally left of centre, moved to right of centre (on rendered block), with flat wooden hood and six fielded panels. Curved shop front has large C19 shop window to left with moulded wood architrave, central doorcase with attached Doric columns and open dentil pediment (very weathered), blocked fanlight and C20 door, plate glass pointed-arch window to right with moulded stone architrave. Interior of house has fine turned baluster timber stair said to be c1700 with wreathed handrail, and plaster friezes in hall, very large fireplace concealed in ground floor room to right of door, using the very large chimney.
