1674 (datestone). Cottage: late C18. Farmhouse and cottage in one range.
Coursed rubble (part rendered). Quoins. Pitched stone slate roof. 2 storeys.
East elevation: Farmhouse: Ground floor; entrance with quoins, chamfered
reveals and deep millstone grit. Lintel with Tudor arch and inscription:
IMH 1674 which is in squared motif, typical of date and area. Drip moulding
over. One 8-light stone mullioned window (double chamfered) (central King
mullion). One 5-light stone mullioned window (double chamfered recessed).
(two outer lights blocked). Above both windows is single drip moulding with
decorative square stop at each end with 6 petal, floral motif. First floor;
one 5-light stone mullioned window (chamfered and recessed square mullions).
One 4-light stone mullioned window (chamfered and recessed square mullions).
Cottage: ground floor; one 5-light stone mullioned window. First floor; one
4-light stone mullioned window. North gable: lean-to extension. South gable;
first floor; one 2-light stone mullioned window (chamfered and recessed) (mullion
removed). Lean-to extension. West elevation: ground floor back to earth.
Small light, possibly fire window, (chamfered surround and semicircular false
arch).
